I also enjoy Goodwill, but don't seem to find the treasures as my blogging friends.

I also know the feeling one gets when the garden is dying, you hate to see it go, but then you know it is time. It seems you have had a bountiful year too.
Thanks for sharing.
SueSuehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14843762646877115013noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3256640757472713928.post-30088735303206904292011-08-24T09:15:16.060-07:002011-08-24T09:15:16.060-07:00That percolator... cute, cute! It's funny the immense satisfaction one can get from a Goodwill addiction. :)

Strange to hear so many speak of tomato plants that are done producing and turning brown. That Doesn't happen here. Just when everything is producing gangbusters we begin to worry about the first freeze. At some point I harvest all of the green tomatoes (and there are tons) and watch the plants freeze...

Blessings, Debbieno spring chickenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15772761727295689298noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3256640757472713928.post-44717459625215963362011-08-23T18:00:49.621-07:002011-08-23T18:00:49.621-07:00Wow! Sort of like a mocha. I'll have to try it. My garden is starting to look half dead as well. Almost time to start ripping things out, but not quite. Hooray - glad you're considering the craft show!!Staci@LifeAtCobbleHillFarmhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12970355437338210130noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3256640757472713928.post-20453316195722468632011-08-22T17:44:07.173-07:002011-08-22T17:44:07.173-07:00I really like your pretty coffee pot. I didn't know that you had creepy little kids next door.
I am so glad they are back in school too.
Yeah, I sat and stared at my garden and I am ready for mine to come out too. I am just tired of gardening.Farm Girlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00998621464797636686noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3256640757472713928.post-62387960466189531122011-08-22T15:40:56.596-07:002011-08-22T15:40:56.596-07:00I had to chuckle at you ripping out your garden. ...I had to chuckle at you ripping out your garden. It sounds like you had had enough!! Ours has been disappointing so far this year, but we are still hopeful. Our tomatoes JUST started bearing fruit last week, so I am looking forward to getting some good fresh home-grown goodies. Today I'm going to make some mint sauce and try freezing it. Who knows how that will work out? :) Neat percolator, by the way. How fun, that you found what you were looking for.Lynnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16562989307286675615noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3256640757472713928.post-7296635240525912542011-08-22T13:27:23.735-07:002011-08-22T13:27:23.735-07:00The other kids were throwing things at your boys o...The other kids were throwing things at your boys over the fence??? OMG that's horrible! What jerks! But they're gone now, HA.

Three months really isn't a lot of time for a craft show, unless you're going to knit like crazy between now and then. And unless you already have some stock that you could sell. Maybe it would be better to go look this year, then plan to sell stuff next year, so you have a whole year to stockpile.

Of course, next year, you'll have a new munchkin.Kessiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15019626781634777336noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3256640757472713928.post-34633323920969585502011-08-22T11:46:51.860-07:002011-08-22T11:46:51.860-07:00i mean the brats that were harassing your kids...y...i mean the brats that were harassing your kids...you're right...that's totally NOT cool. i just don't get how parents can let their kids behave that way.mountain mamahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15964351298726937025noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3256640757472713928.post-89492452058038350022011-08-22T11:45:53.123-07:002011-08-22T11:45:53.123-07:00yay for a fruitful trip to goodwill! can't be...yay for a fruitful trip to goodwill! can't beat that!

i'm ever so happy the brats are back in school too...ugh!mountain mamahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15964351298726937025noreply@blogger.com
