Spring Is Here!

Volunteer Borage. I won't have to plant any from seed

Ok, not officially for another week but it sure does look like it around here.

The grape is leafing out

Boysenberries ready to bloom. Judging by the number of buds, we're going to be drowning in berries this year.

The Wisteria is going hog wild. As much as I hate the plant, it sure is gorgeous.

I am trying to resist the urge to plant.

It's not going very well.

There might be some sunflowers going in the ground this weekend...

And some veggies.

And maybe some herbs.

I can at least start seedlings.

I have to keep telling myself it's still March.

How's it lookin' in your neck of the woods?
Meg

Don't do it, the weather says our pattern is changing and we will be getting some storms. Rain is in the forecast. It will be cooler. Resist, resist. :)

I have to resist - we've been having a warm streak but every warmblooded Iowan knows you have to wait until a week or two past Easter at least to be snow storm free and since I'm sticking to a lot of plants that can't go in until after the first frost I'm stuck!

Isn't it lovely to be post-birth and you can enjoy life again? So much new life!

Finally we have lily of the valley popping up... and the green shoots of tulips and daffodils. But I'm missing the west coast. :(

Nothing like it's looking there!! Freezing, overcast, snow flurries... Not a hint of spring budding. But that's not unusual for here and I never really thought much about it until I started blogging. Now you all make me so hungry for spring! It's hard to imagine not only having green out there, but blossoms? Mmmmm.

Blessings, Debbie

We have had a few warm days (70 degrees.) Pretty warm for March in Massachusetts. Today though it was quite chilly and I have my heat on in the house. I bet the baby is so much fun!!
