Finished Knit: Foliage Mitts

Well, since it's still foggy and the light is terrible thus preventing me from taking decent pictures of our sexy living room... How about a finished knit?

This colorway inspired the thought of leaves, so I tried out a lacy leaf design. I think it turned out rather nicely. I have more ideas for them though and want to add some extra embellishments so this is the prototype.

I did just finish a pair for a customer with a blue/green combo that turned out awesome, and will post that one later.

This pair is in the shop, for anyone who would like to be their new owner. :)

Pattern: Foliage prototype

Yarn: Knit Picks Stroll in "Foliage Tonal" - 27 grams / 125 yards

Needles: US 2/2.75 mm Harmony wood DPNs

Knitline: November 7th - November 9th

YTD Mileage: 4.65 with these ones - and I have a bunch of other finished knits to go through too!

Happy Knitting,
Meg

Those are fantastic! I'm constantly amazed at the beauty of the designs you come up with. I'll bet they find a home in no time.

such an artist.

but i stumbled over 'sexy' living room. now
you have to show us if you use an adjective
like that, little missy!

They are gorgeous. You do amazing work. My knitting never looks as even and perfect as yours.
I hope they get a nice new home. Unfortunatly fingerless gloves are not really practical where I live :)

Beautiful. The colors are so vibrant that that alone would keep you warm.

I see more and more of these gloves in the stores. Of course there is nothing like hand knit ones. Yours are lovely.
