About a month ago my most awesomest sis-in-love asked for a pair of fingerless mitts.
Last week I was in between zombies and cast on for them as soon as I could. She needed something special, so I designed a new pattern, just for her mitts.
Now she has a pair that will keep her hands warm while she is outside working. I asked if I could name them after her, so I present to you: Emilie.
Pattern: Emilie by Meg
Yarn: Cascade Heritage (75% SW merino, 25% nylon) in "5601" (Black) - about 153 yards
Needles: US 2/2.75mm Knit Picks Harmony wood double points
YTD Mileage: 4.76 miles! Oooooh gettin' close to 5 miles!

Dad read over my shoulder and said, "VERY Cool." I like that you named them after her.
Not to mention your caramels are so wonderful thanks for sending a box home.
Still making bucketloads of zombies, eh?
Mom: I'm glad you like them! They're so addicting... be careful! ;)
Will: Always... always making zombies... Jim's got me booked for awhile, LOL!
I am in love with your mitts. Strangely, I just this minute posted a picture of the mitts I finished this week, and I wish I hadn't!! Not on this day!! Your mitts are so much cuter...so so so SO much cuter (are you catching my drift?). OH! Ah! sigh.
And whoever is wearing them looks darling, too! Meg... I want to stop by for coffee and something yummy to eat from your oven. Drats living so far away!
I came over from Allison's blog. I love your fingerless gloves, the color is just beautiful and I love the pattern you used.
Allison sent me over to take a look. They're wonderful!!! I hope she loves them (which I'm sure she will). Love your hand model too! :)
