I Should Be Christmas Knitting

But I was going to my mom-in-love's today and I needed something to knit that didn't require attention. So I found this fuzzy nylon yarn in my uncontrollable stash and started a garter stitch scarf. With a point on the end.

I always want a scarf around this time of year. When it's cold and my neck is unprotected. So I make scarves, but then I give them away as presents. Not this time! I'm keeping this one.

But now I must get back to Christmas presents. Maybe I can finish it after that. Or maybe I can just be a Grinch and knit for myself? Muahahaha.

Merry Christmas,
~Meg

I guess you should have stayed longer and you might have finished. :)
Did the boys take naps? I didn't know you were making a scarf for you. That is why I didn't ask because I thought it was a present for someone else. You need your own scarf too.

When you knit, do you sit and think about all the things you could be taking pictures of? That's a really nice picture you have there. :)

And scarves are nice. Scarves are very nice.

Since I got my camera I have been taking pictures of everything around the house, not just my knitting. LOL! It's a great camera. :)

How did I miss this post? How? How? :)

Last spring I knitted a Noro striped scarf all-for-myself...and I've been wearing all season. I love it. It's so warm and full of love (albeit mine!). heehee. Good for you making something for yourself!
