Our beautifully blue sky this morning after a day of rain.
*sigh* After 9 days, our vacation is over. It's hard to get back into the swing of things. Especially after such a long time.
It was such a nice, relaxing, lazy, stress free vacation. Having Ben home for a whole week was just perfect. It was really nice to see him so relaxed.
We didn't do anything, really and it was awesome. No plans, no Go-Dos. Just being home and doing nothing. Ben wired electricity into the shed and now he has lights out there. It made him a very happy man. We watched movies and shows, ate a ridiculous amount of junk food (only got fast food once though! Better than we thought we'd do), BBQ'd and sat out by the fire... Oh man it was so nice.
But now, he's back to work and I'm back to chores and life is as it once was. Which is actually OK. Because my house needs a good cleaning. I'm procrastinating though. Can you tell?
Just to let y'all know - I've acquired my very own domain name! I'm now at www.bitoflife.com! I'm so excited about this. It's the beginning of things to come. The RSS feeds should update automatically, but if anyone has problems please let me know. Blogger is rerouting my blog to the new domain (you'll be brought here automatically if you type in the blogspot address), so essentially everything is the same but the address.
And now... on to cleaning, and bread baking, and the first week of a new year!

I have too tell you I am a bit enxious to get back to the routine. I have another son visiting for a few days; Love them with all my heart but I need to get back to my little dull world.
I'm just about done with housework, after a few hours of hard work. Just taking a break before I tackle about half the mountain of laundry that has accumulated since our trip.
Just getting to vacuum and keeping up with the laundry. I might not mom until tomorrow. But got school done and that was good. It is always nice to get back to routine. So glad you guys had such a nice break.
