Finished Knit: Emilie

A pair of Emilie fingerless mitts for a long time family friend. This was my little "in between" project during the zombies. It was a good break to refresh my brain and get me going again. I was in a zombie slump.

These are in what I'm calling the "Ocean" colorway. The yarn color doesn't actually have a name, it's just a non-descriptive number. At first I was afraid the variation wouldn't show the cables very well, but I think they turned out very nice.

Pattern: Emilie by Meg

Yarn: Cascade Heritage (superwash merino and nylon) in Ocean - 35 grams/153 yards

Needles: US 2/2.75 mm Knit Picks Harmony

Knitline: January 12th - 14th

YTD Mileage: This little pair puts me .32 miles.

I LOVE my my emilies!! Not only are they beautiful, they are warm & comfortable! When I told a friend that they had been knitted for me, she raved about the quality of the stitching & the cables. I love having the gloves, and I love having a little bit of your work to carry around with me. We are all so proud of you! Love, Laura
